Monthly Talk: The Hidden Path of Technology

About The Event
“The Hidden Path of Technology” gives insights, developed from studying Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy, into the links between the path of self and spiritual development and that of technological development. Such an approach sheds light on various issues such as AI and the troublesome relationship between technical development and economics that forms the background to so much of modern life. Charles Tolman has been programming since the mid-1970s having worked on large systems which include video effects systems, and currently, a large-scale computer simulation system. He has studied anthroposophy since he became a founding parent of Alder Bridge School. He balances his technical pursuits with artistic activities such as Argentine Tango dancing, watercolour painting, and poetry.
