School Inspection Reports
Here you will find our latest inspection report. If you have any question about the reports or the inspection process please contact the School Leader.
Until recently, UK Steiner-Waldorf schools were inspected by the Schools Inspection Service (SIS), but in January 2019 SIS closed and Ofsted now conducts all inspections.
Steiner-Waldorf schools begin formal teaching later than other schools in the UK and focus on all aspects of a child’s development. At a time when there is a national child and adolescent mental health crisis, we stand strong behind the view that children need an abundance of physical and creative activity in a broad and balanced curriculum in order to truly thrive.
“Teaching throughout the school is characterised by friendly and supportive relationships between adults and pupils. Consequently, pupils have positive attitudes to learning and enjoy their lessons.”
“Older pupils have a deep and rich knowledge in science, and younger pupils develop their confidence
in modern foreign languages, such as German, very quickly. Throughout the school the art and craft work, including handwork, is of a very high standard.”
“Pupils feel safe and well cared for at school.”
“Pupils care about each other and are kind to their peers.”
